I've owned this detector for some time now and really haven't put to much time into learning it's potential.  Is there a starting point in the settings I could use for coins and gold?  Thanks

I found out after using mine for at least a year that the best coil's not the 950nthey come with(deep, but chattery) I got an OEM 6x10 DD and it's much better/quieter/ easier to pinpoint with and so on. Then it works best w/ factory presets in owner's manuel.....

Thanks for the update.  I'll have to dust it off and try that coil too.
