I have a 1996 Lincoln Penny that has a major defect which appears to have gotten caught somewhere in the minting process (somewhere along the way).  The back of the coin has no memorial on the back, but it does have a spider-type design.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it is worth or what happened to it.  I have been to countless websites and talked to some people, but no one has been able to help me.  So, if anyone has any information, please e-mail me.
Please post in the right section. It will get more exposure that way.

It does look machined. If it is a legitimate error, check with these two respected dealers:

and http://www.byersnc.com/ - www.byersnc.com they can tell you for sure.
