A golden coin has appeared in my possession and I am unaware of where it came from.
I also cannot seem to determine if is has any monetary value (.25, .50 cents) because there is absolutely nothing about this coin online.

The coin is very nearly the size of a quarter, but as a mentioned previously, is golden in color.

One side of the coin is a Liberty head with the word Liberty hugging the edge of the coin. On the other side is a stylized lions head and the word LEO and tiny initials that appear to say "HM"

Any ideas what this is and where it came from??

Thank you,
Kimmy C

I was out searching a Tot Lot with my Garrett AT Pro and found a coin just like the one you described.  After a little but of help from the metal detecting forum I am a part of, they helped me locate the exact coin online.  Here is the link: http://www.hoffmanmint.com/token-info.php?id=T85

Just a token but a cool find none the less.  Hope this helps.
