This garden is in the middle of New Haven, CT (home to Yale). So its a really really old city.

I wish she found a coin from the 1700s.Tongue

Found a 1985-D lincoln with no copper cladding.  It was so dirty that I almost missed it.

I often search through cents and halves, my best finds have been of lately including an 1893 and 1889 very worn indian head, hundreds of wheats, some old canadian pennies, a few off center errors. My best find was this morning, i was shocked. It was an extremely worn and harshly cleaned 1914-d lincoln. I couldn't believe it. The d and 19 are easily seen, but I had to get out my 10x lense to see the 14. I'm not even sure of the value yet, but Im excited to take it to my dealer.

I found a 1956 Quarter and some  Silver WWII nickels in the coffee jar at work...I was about to put in my three bucks for the week and saw some tarnished nickels. I rolled it out into my hand and low and behold. I threw in an extra buck and said Thank You to nobody in particular. Free Coffee.LOL

I've found 4 or 5 wheaties lately, a nice looking 1940 mercury dime, a silver, 1960 rosie, and a clad dime in a roll of pennies.
I'm so happy, cause today I found my friends, they're in my head.-Nirvana
