Hi,
I've tried to id. this coin and have come up empty. Can anyone suggest either a link to look for an example or tell me the coin's name/type...thanks

Hi; Your copper is an Irish halfpenny from the reign of George III. It is likely a counterfeit from the British Isles contemporary to the colonial period and dated 1781 - 1783. The reverse should have a crowned Harpie with a date below.
