I found this in my bag of non keepers. Does any body know of any other repunched dates like this? I have searched for days with no luck. Any input would be appreciated.
I have sent pics to Bob Piazza but have not heard from him yet.
No, It is not for sale. (Yet)
Observe the 3 visible to the right of the 2. Just think, this coin was originally going to be one of the few holy grails of the penny collector.

Looks like planchet lamenation to me.  Also  the "3" in that decade had a flat top.
ps grew up in Boise.. more mormon per capita than SLC...   love family home evening :)

Yes it does have the appearance of a lamination issue and post strike damage. Don't see a 3.
